SEO · Hotels

SEO for a hotel, by the stay someone is trying to book.

A room, a date, and the city. A page of amenities with no way to ask is where the enquiry stops.

Starting fee ₹40,000 a month, plus GST. The column marked on this page is that scope. The other published columns are below.

A hotel reception desk with a key board, a brass bell and a closed register.
A reception desk. Editorial image, generated for this site. Not a client’s hotel.

The marketing site can be found. The reservation system is a different product.

This page does not cite an occupancy rate, an average room rate, or a study of hotel SEO spend. None of those was used. The useful search is someone who already wants a stay in that place.

Recommendation: one property, the rooms it lets, and a request for dates. A group of properties is the Growth retainer. Real estate, which is a sale or a lease of property rather than a night's stay, remains SEO for real estate.

01 The problem

Hotel sites describe a mood and hide the room.

What gets rewritten.

  1. 01

    Rates that are nobody's

A figure is published only as the hotel states it for that season. A number from another website is not used.

  2. 02

A booking button that goes nowhere

If there is no engine, the page asks for dates and a phone. It does not pretend to confirm a room.

  3. 03

    A page for every landmark

The property is found for the city it is in. A doorway page for a neighbourhood it does not serve is refused.

02 The work

What the retainer covers for one property.

The stay. Not a tour operator and not a wedding venue, unless this hotel actually hosts the event and says so.

  1. 01

    Property and room pages

What the hotel lets, in the hotel's facts.

  2. 02

    The Google profile

The property's name, the city, and a phone.

  3. 03

    A date request

Arrival, departure, and a phone. Confirmation stays with the hotel.

  4. 04

    Monthly reporting

Enquiries from non-brand search. No occupancy is promised.

03 The process

How an SEO engagement runs

If the client needs a channel manager, that is named as out of scope before the retainer starts.

  1. 01

    Audit

The site, the Google profile, and whether a call or a form is actually counted. The reply says if search is the wrong channel.

  2. 02

    Research

The searches that match services the business sells. Competitor pages are read for structure. Their claimed results are not treated as facts.

  3. 03

    Strategy

Which pages to publish, which to refuse, and which pricing column the scope fits. Written down before the monthly work starts.

  4. 04

    Implementation

Technical fixes, internal links, the profile, and the pages. Anything that states a professional fact is corrected by the client before it goes live.

  5. 05

    Check

Forms, the phone number, redirects from old URLs, and schema that matches the visible page. No review markup is added to invent a rating.

  6. 06

    Report

A monthly read of calls and form fills, including what did not move. The report is the work. It is not a ranking promise.

04 The search

Found for a stay. The room is confirmed by the hotel.

The website is website design for hotels. A wedding venue that is not a hotel is SEO for weddings.

Pages one property needs.

The hotel, the rooms, the dates.

  1. 01

    The property

Where it is and who it is for.

  2. 02

    Rooms

What is let, as the hotel describes it.

  3. 03

    Ask for dates

A request, not a confirmed booking.

Proof

No hotel result is published here.

There is no hotel case study. The reception in the image was generated for this site. It is not a property of a client.

Published client work has to meet the case study standard. This page does not invent one to fill the gap.

Fee

One property is the local column.

A small group is Growth. A brand with many properties is the broader column, still without a booking engine inside the fee.

GST on these services is 18%. The local column has a three-month minimum. The larger columns have six. Domain tools and advertising spend are extra. A ranking is not included.

Monthly retainer, billed in advance, excluding GST. No setup fee. The number in the column is the fee for that scope. Reporting and a strategy call are included at every tier.

  1. Growth SEO

A handful of properties the group will keep current.

    ₹65,000 a month, plus GST

The full discipline on one site: technical foundations, a content programme built on commercial intent, earned links, and visibility inside AI answers — one retainer instead of four line items.

    • Complete technical SEO — crawl, index, render, speed, schema
    • Keyword and intent strategy scored on commercial value, not search volume
    • 4 content pieces a month, briefed, written and edited — production included, not billed on top
    • Internal linking architecture that moves authority to the pages that make money
    • AI SEO (GEO): entity and schema work, llms.txt, AI-answer visibility tracking
    • 3–4 earned links a month through outreach and digital PR
    • Conversion rate input on the pages that already rank, so more of the traffic converts
    • Monthly reporting against enquiries and revenue — not rankings alone — plus a strategy call
    What you are paying for

48 published pieces a year, roughly 40 earned links, a technically clean site and a documented keyword strategy — all of it yours to keep. Bought separately, the content, the links and the technical work are three suppliers and three invoices; here they are one fee and one person accountable for the result.

6-month minimum — the first quarter is foundations and rarely shows in revenue.

  2. Broader SEO

    Many properties, still one programme.

    ₹95,000 a month, plus GST

A programme built around the buying decision — the comparison, the alternative and the objection pages your sales team already answers on every call.

    • Cluster architecture mapped to the buying decision, not the product taxonomy
    • 8–10 pieces a month including comparison, alternative and JTBD pages
    • Product-led content built with your team's subject expertise
    • 6–8 links a month plus a running digital PR programme
    • AI search visibility programme across ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews
    • Competitor displacement: which of their pages we take, and in what order
    • Pipeline-attributed reporting — sessions to signups to qualified pipeline
    • Monthly strategy call with your growth or marketing lead
    What you are paying for

The pages your sales team already answers on every call — comparison, alternative and objection pages — built at 8–10 a month with links behind them, plus reporting that follows a session through to qualified pipeline. Content production sits inside the fee, not as a second invoice.

6-month minimum. Content production is included, not billed on top.

Questions

Questions hotels ask.

How much does SEO for a hotel cost?

₹40,000 a month, plus GST, for one property. A group is ₹65,000 or ₹95,000 a month, plus GST, depending on how many properties have to be kept current. The fee does not include a booking engine.

Will the pages show live availability?

No. Availability and the rate for a date are confirmed by the hotel. The site can ask for the dates. It does not invent a vacant room.

Can you also do the weddings we host?

Only as a page on this property if the hotel hosts events and will say what the space holds. A planner or a venue whose business is weddings is a separate page.

If the business is outside hotels, or this scope is the wrong size, the reply says so. There is no calendar on this page. The form is the request.
